Sharing my experience and strategy to secure A+ on SEE examination

Final Stage of Preparing for SEE Exams: A Journey to Success

As the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) approaches, students often feel a mix of excitement and pressure. This is the time when consistent hard work and proper planning can make all the difference. Reflecting on my own SEE preparation, I want to share my experiences, routine, and some practical suggestions to help you navigate this crucial period.

My Preparation Routine

Back in my school days, our preparation entered its final stage in Poush, when the school put us in a hostel. The teachers meticulously scheduled our routine, and while it was tight and intense, it helped us stay focused. Hereโ€™s how our days looked:

Time Description
4:45 AM to 5:00 AM Wake Up and refresh time
5:00 AM to 6:30 AM Study Science. Try to cover deep knowledge about the chapters including practicing from 10 sets.
6:30 AM to 7:00 AM Breakfast time
7:00 AM to 8:30 AM Study Social subject. Apply same approach like Science for this and other subjects.
8:30 AM to 9:30 AM Lunch time (we need to go home to take lunch)
9:30 AM to 10:30 AM Study English subject
10:30 AM to 12:00 PM Study Health
12:00 PM to 12:45 PM Break fast
12:45 PM to 2:45 PM Study Compulsory Math
2:45 PM to 4:45 PM Study Optional Math
4:45 PM to 5:45 PM Dinner time
5:45 PM to 6:45 PM Study Nepali subject
6:45 PM to 8:45 PM Study Accountant
8:45 PM to onwards You can revise or practice from 10 sets. During my time, we were ordered to practice the sets, ask questions to the teacher and sometime there was surpise test.

The schedule was exhausting, but I didnโ€™t let the pressure overwhelm me. My dream of scoring well and my love for subjects like science and math kept me motivated.

One of the most memorable moments was when a teacher woke us up at 11:45 PM for a surprise test! It seemed hilarious back then, but now I realize how it pushed us to stay sharp and prepared at all times.

The Power of Repetition and Practice

During those three months, we focused on practicing and revising. For the first six weeks, we worked tirelessly to complete and revise all subjects. After that, the remaining weeks were devoted to solving 10 sets of model questions multiple times, tackling exercises, and taking endless practice tests.

What made this effective was the constant support from teachers. They were available 24/7 to clear doubts and guide us. Even though the practice tests and surprise exams felt challenging, they built my confidence.

My Suggestions for SEE Students

  1. It doesnโ€™t matter whether youโ€™re in a public or private school. What truly counts is the guidance you receive. Public school students may not always get the same facilities, but with todayโ€™s resources, thereโ€™s no room for excuses.
  2. The key to confidence is revision. Go over your syllabus multiple times, practice questions, and ensure you understand the concepts thoroughly.
  3. Many students believe final exam questions will come directly from model sets, but thatโ€™s not always true. Focus on understanding formulas, theorems, rules, and structures. Learn how and why these concepts are used. Then, create similar questions and practice solving them within a time limit.
  4. With resources available online and offline, you have plenty of tools to prepare. Explore model papers, video tutorials, and doubt-solving forums to strengthen your understanding.

Thoughts About Model Questions

Practicing model sets is undoubtedly helpful, but donโ€™t rely on them entirely. Instead of memorizing answers, train your brain to solve similar questions independently. Setting a timer while solving these papers will boost your speed and time management skills.

Hard work pays off

Looking back, all those sleepless nights and intense study sessions were worth it. Today, Iโ€™m studying engineering on a scholarship, and it feels like a reward for the hard work I put into my SEE preparation.

Final words of motivation

The effort you put in now will shape your future. Work hard, stay focused, and trust the process. Remember, the more you practice and revise, the easier it will be to achieve your goals. Believe in yourself, and success will follow!

Good luck with your exams! ๐ŸŒŸ Happy learning!
